[CAUTION: SPOILER ALERT]
If there's one thing we should have learned, it's that, you know, our brains always outrace our hearts. Our science charges ahead; our souls lag behind.
Let's start anew.
--Apollo, BSG, "The final episode" Based on all the destruction and drama that the damaged souls had us endure through the series, I agree. Best they spend some more time evolving! But, I dunno. Civilization brings technology for more destruction and exploitation, but it also brings technology for better education and communication.
Nevertheless, it's true:
godlike power - godlike love = godlike devastation
